Dear Parent,

Thank you for your interest in Ruskin Christian School. As parents and teachers, we know that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent will make. We understand the importance of getting a solid educational foundation which is needed for the future success of our children. Our goal is to provide an educational program to meet your child’s academic needs with a proven curriculum in a Christ-centered atmosphere.

It would be a privilege to meet with you and your child (grades K5 - 12) to discuss what RCS has to offer! To make an appointment, call the school office at (813) 645-6441. If inquiring about grades 1-12, please see the list of items below that you should bring with you to the appointment.

Preschool (ages 2-4)

• No documentation is needed for the appointment.

• The following is needed at the time of enrollment.

  • Copy of the child’s birth certificate, updated immunization records from a State of Florida physician or health department.

  • A school physical will be required before the student can enroll (if enrolling for the 2023-2024 school year, the physical must be dated after June 1, 2023).

  • If enrolling in VPK, you must submit the approval letter.

• Note: If you are relocating from out of state, the following is required before your child can attend class: a copy of the birth certificate, back-to-school physical, and updated immunization records from a Florida physician.

Grades K5-12

• Grades 1-12: Most recent report card and a copy of the previous years report card.

• Grades 1-12: Most recent copy of standardized testing results (ex: Stanford 10, Iowa Basic Skills, FSA).

• Grades 10-12: Copy of transcripts.

• Grades K5-12: Any additional information you know will be important for us to make an assessment about your child.

• Grades K5-12: Needed at the time of enrollment: Copy of the child’s birth certificate, school or sports physical (dated after June 1, 2022), and updated immunization records from a Florida physician or health department.

• Note: If you are relocating from out of state, the following is required before your child can attend class: a copy of the birth certificate, back-to-school physical, and updated immunization records from a Florida physician.

*An academic evaluation is required for new students entering grades K5-12. A testing date will be scheduled during the initial interview. A testing fee of $50.00 and is due at the time of testing. The 2023-2024 registration fee will be due upon acceptance.
